Comfy TriniBnB Listing
“Planning to play carnival as a solo is not something easy. You have to make sure first where you sleep. Dawn has been to me my carnival godmother. If I had to pack again for Trini I’d do it right away, thanks to her. Plus, she has this lovely creole house you'd feel comfortable in! And yes, this island is not only about fêtes and mas, Trini people are nice hosts and make you feel welcome from the airport to their kitchen! Thank you again for EVERYTHING, Dawn! My trip wouldn't be that fun without your help. I'm sure about that!” |

CHECK-IN/CHECK OUT:
I'm flexible about check-in time as I know how much travellers are at the mercy of airlines and taxi services, especially when visiting a new country. Check-out time is 12:00 noon. If you're leaving on a redeye flight and wish to stay, you will have to pay for an extra day.
GETTING AROUND
I can arrange a car rental for you, but I'm very happy to assist anyone who wants to use local transportation/taxi services on their own. My home is a ten-minute walk from public transportation (taxis, buses, and minibuses or maxi-taxis). There is a shopping complex nearby, which includes a fairly large and well-stocked supermarket, a pharmacy, a dentist, a bakery, and a couple fast food chains. Restaurants, shopping, beaches, golfing, hiking, sailing, and other attractions are also within close proximity. TT Rideshare, Drop Taxi Service, Pink Cab, and other taxi app services are available locally. I also do airport pick-ups and transfers to Port of Spain, party drop-offs and pick-ups for additional fees. I can arrange a car rental for you, and I'm also available to take you on day trips/tours once my schedule permits.
NEIGHBOURHOOD & LOCATION
My home is located in the popular Port of Spain suburb of Diego Martin. It's a fairly quiet, down to earth, and typical Trini neighbourhood. My home is a 10-minute walk to taxis, a supermarket, pharmacy, and fast food spots. A 20-minute drive to Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago's capital city, and a 15-minute drive to the Chaguaramas peninsula where you'll find beaches, golf, sailing, cycling, hiking, restaurants, and more.
Check out my Guidebook to get a sense of your proximity to conveniences, sites, and major attractions.
The space worked perfectly for me. I'd be happy to stay there again and would recommend this location especially for people who want easy access to Port of Spain and surrounding areas. Check out our #StaynPlay Packages now! |
