The Bamboo Cathedral, Historic Chaguaramas & Macqueripe Bay
We'll start the day early with a drive down to the northwestern peninsula where you'll see sights that played an important role in World War II.. Afterwards, we'll explore Tucker Valley, stroll through the Bamboo Cathedral that leads to the remnants of the Ballistic Missile Early Warning System (BMEWS), now commonly known as the Tracking Station. Afterwards, we'll head over to the ziplines, where you can get a bird’s eye view of the breathtaking beauty at Macqueripe Bay. Highly trained guides will take you along the seven line course, the highest being 100 feet, for a whirlwind ride that takes between forty-five minutes and one hour to complete. To get over the exhiliration of ziplining, we'll cool off in Macqueripe Bay, a former submarine docking station during World War II.
